Another day, another line

We got to the theater yesterday around 4pm. People standing in line around us were complaining about having to wait for EIGHT WHOLE HOURS before the movie started!

Amateurs.

I got a text from Oldest Son while we were waiting. He asked me where I was and I told him we were in line again. His reply, "What in the world are you waiting for NOW?"

I enjoyed the movie, even though the critics seem to be bashing it. I am assuming its because I have read all the books. I tried to watch it through the eyes of someone who had no prior knowledge of the Twilight craze and I will be honest, I could see why they might not like the movie. They might even think it was a little boring. I was a little surprised by the reaction of some of the girls who were sitting by us, obviously huge fans of the book, who totally hated the movie.

I left the theater wondering how soon I could go see it again.

Tuesday.

Watching the movie was a lot like reading the books. You just wanted it to keep going and going.

R is getting ready to leave for school in a few minutes, missing first period. She is going to catch some flack on this one, after missing two days already because of all this. Either that or I am going to be hauled in by the truant officer to be questioned under the bright light for the reason I am letting my daughter skip school for a movie. After today she is out for a week for Thanksgiving break. Her teachers can forget how mad they are at her by the time she goes back. I hope, for her sake.

And now, on to the stories...
